Summary Dominican society presented the third report of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which form part of an agenda of global commitment to building equity and the development of a better life for men and women worldwide. The MDGs aim to specific goals related to achieving the development of people, especially those who are less likely to achieve a full life: eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, achieve universal access to primary education, achieving equality gender, reducing child mortality, improving maternal health, tithing HIV / AIDS and ensuring environmental sustainability. The country is committed from the beginning, in 2000; and to a greater or lesser extent, the MDGs have permeated the various instruments of the National Planning System policies, actions and interventions of successive governments, non-governmental organizations and the international community. This third report follows the route of the former, made in 2010, in order to track performance and discover the lags in performance. How we have made progress in achieving the MDG targets? Where we are? How much do we need? What are we doing and what we do to speed up the pace? The present report takes us closer to the answers to these questions
